Topaz Care and Support family support service is a professional, home-based services designed to meet the needs of families with learning disability, multiple and complex needs. We work with families dealing with mental health problems, difficulties with parenting or with their own relationship, domestic abuse, children with behavioural difficulties, problems engaging in education, supporting older members of the family, and financial and material hardship.
Our family support staff offer additional advice, support and information to the families and carers of the client we support.
We can offer:
- Outreach support and home visits
- Advocacy for families and carers
- Advice in benefits, grants, personal budgets and welfare issues
- Advice on your rights as a carer
- Signposting to other services
- Support at meetings
- Support with parenting skills
- Supporting teenage parents
